On September 20th, the China Enterprise Confederation and the China Entrepreneur Association released the list of 2023 Top 500 Chinese Enterprises, Top 500 Chinese Manufacturing Enterprises, Top 500 Chinese Service Industry Enterprises, Top 100 Chinese Multinational Companies and Cross national Index, Top 100 Strategic Emerging Industry Leading Enterprises in China, and Top 100 Innovative Large Enterprises in China in Hefei, Anhui, along with their analysis reports.
The scale of China's top 500 enterprises in 2023 continues to maintain a growth trend, with a total operating revenue of 108.36 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.74% compared to the previous year's top 500. For the first time, the number of enterprises with a revenue exceeding 100 billion yuan among the top 500 Chinese enterprises has exceeded 50%. In 2023, the number of enterprises with a revenue exceeding 100 billion yuan has increased to 254, a net increase of 10.

China Baowu Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., Hesteel Group Co., Ltd., Qingshan Holdings Group Co., Ltd., Ansteel Group Co., Ltd., Jingye Group Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu Shagang Group Co., Ltd. entered the top 100, ranking 13th, 69th, 74th, 83th, 88th, and 93rd respectively.
